About AussieHoopsAmerica.com AussieHoopsAmerica.com launched on October 31, 2006. This is a website dedicated to covering Aussies playing in the Pros and NCAA division I. Our small but passionate Aussie and American staff are combining strengths in the U.S. and Australia, and are committed to providing the most timely and insightful coverage possible. We are focusing on Aussies in the Pros and in men's and women's NCAA division I basketball. We realize the Pros and NCAA division I are not the only leagues that deem coverage in America, therefore we will look to expand our coverage in the future. AussieHoopsAmerica.com and ESPN came to an agreement to produce and air a series of one-minute spots featuring some of the top Aussie talent in men's NCAA Division I basketball. These spots and a half hour special titled Aussie Hoops America: NCAA Spotlight aired on ESPN in Australia during the 2006-07 college basketball season.
