Bogut Undergoes Successful Surgery for Broken Nosewww.jsonline.comby Charles Gardner 29 Mar 2008 MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin - Andrew Bogut underwent a successful surgery to reduce a displaced nasal fracture, or a broken nose, the Bucks announced before tonight's game against Orlando. The surgery was performed by Paul Lowenstein, a doctor at Elmbrook Hospital in Brookfield. Bogut was not available to play against the Magic and was to be listed as day-to-day, beginning with Saturday night's game against the Chicago Bulls in Chicago. He will be required to wear a protective mask for the rest of the season. In 68 games this season, Bogut is averaging 13.9 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.76 blocked shots. He has 32 double-doubles, ranking second in that category among Eastern Conference centers.
