Bogut Back & Bucks' win ends six-game losing streakwww.jsonline.comBy Tom Enlund 23 Mar 2008 MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin - The luxury of going three days without playing a game can work wonders for a team during the marathon NBA season. Just ask the energized Milwaukee Bucks, who came off a three-day layoff and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 108-98, Saturday night at the Bradley Center. The Bucks snapped losing streaks of six games overall and four at home. It was the Bucks' first game since Tuesday, when they were defeated by the Miami Heat at home. "We can still play at little bit," said Bucks guard Mo Williams, who played one of his better all-around games of the season. "We had a couple days off, went light Wednesday, had off Thursday and got a little sweat in Friday, and it showed. We had a lot of energy. They looked like a team that played (Friday) night and we took advantage of it. We had a hectic first half of the season (schedule-wise), but it's coming back to us now." Added forward Desmond Mason, "Rest is always good, especially toward the end of the season. Tonight, we had a little better focus on the floor." It was quite a night for Williams, who scored 29 points on 9-of-11 shooting and 10 of 12 from the free-throw line. He handed out 13 assists and committed one turnover - that he didn't think should have been ruled a turnover - in 36 minutes. Guard Michael Redd scored 21 points, making six free throws in the final minute that helped seal the deal. After missing two games with a thigh bruise, Andrew Bogut returned and added 16 points, 15 rebounds and three blocked shots. Guard Charlie Bell scored 12 points in the first half but was helped off the court to the locker room after suffering a right-knee injury midway through the fourth quarter. He was scheduled to get a magnetic resonance imaging exam today. Asked how he was feeling afterward, Bell said, "I'm walking," as he hobbled off to the shower room. Full Story
